Similar to the League of Legends character unlock model, you can either pay to unlock Valorant's 5 locked agents, or earn them through gameplay (or a mix of both). Here's how much it would cost to buy them without any gameplay.
For those familiar with League of Legends, unlocking all 148 champions is a bit unrealistic, costing well over $500, or alternatively many, many hours of regular gameplay.
Similar to the League of Legends character unlock model, you can either pay to unlock agents, or earn them through a lot of gameplay (if you aren't sure how to unlock all the agents, check out this short guide.)
Right now Valorant has 10 playable agents (with more to come). All players are automatically given Phoenix, Sage, Sova, Brimstone, and Jett.
So how much would it cost to purchase the unlockable 5 Agents if you don't want to earn them through gameplay? This includes Raze, Cypher, Breach, Viper, and Omen.
Cost per agent
In each agent's unique contract, 1 level costs 200 Valorant Points (about $2 USD), and the agent is unlocked at level 5 of their individual contract.
This means purchasing 1 agent (AKA getting their contract to level 5) would cost you 1000 Valorant Points, or about $10 USD.
Cost for all 5 unlockable Agents
1000 Valorant Points x 5 unlockable agents = 5000 Valorant Points, or about $50 USD.
However, I would strongly recommend that you do not pay for the first two unlocks, since (thanks to the closed beta rewards) they can be earned very quickly and easily by simply playing a handful of Valorant matches.
After that, it's up to you if you want to pay for the remaining 3 agents, or slowly earn them through playing.
